PASA Education Event – Small-Scale Biogas Systems for Farm and Homestead: Hands-On

Saturday
July 16, 2016
9:00 am to 4:00 pm
Dickinson College Farm Boiling Springs, PA

Biogas is a renewable alternative to natural gas or propane that can be easily made on the farm using affordable home brew technology. Biogas can be used for cooking, space and water heating, engine fuel and electricity generation, while also making a valuable liquid fertilizer. Join these enthusiastic innovators as they share their experiences from operating a wide variety of small biogas plants. Reduce your carbon footprint now by making your own biogas! This workshop includes a make and take option – we will construct several 275 gallon biogas units on site which you may take home – materials fee and pickup truck required.
