PA-WaGN Presents: The Value Added Aspects of Alpacas
Join PA-WAgN as we tour Golden Glen Alpacas with farmer and 2015 Specialty Mentor Terri Kinka and learn how she has added value to her farm through alpaca fiber, education, and breeding stock.

Alpacas are certainly entertaining but have you considered their potential to add value to your farm? Terri will introduce a variety of value-added products using alpaca fiber as we tour her newly constructed facility. She will lead discussions of fiber processing, market, and resources and describe how on-farm educational events are attracting new customers.
Participants will discover the unique needs of alpacas for optimal health, comfort, and safety.
