Join the Pennsylvania Women’s Agricultural Network at Yellow Springs Farm!
When: July 16, 2015, 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Learn how farmers Catherine and Al Renzi have restored a piece of Chester County by returning their property to it’s original farming roots.
Participants will discover how Catherine and Al have reestablished a milking parlor and working cheese house and learn how native plants are utilized as animal feed. Catherine will describe methods used to maintain animal health, nutritional considerations, breeding, and body scoring.
Participants will tour the farm, including a native plant nursery.
Early registration suggested as space is limited.
All parking will be off-site, shuttle provided. Details forthcoming.
