Meeting at Octorara School Concerning the Future of Agriculture in Chester County

Tuesday
March 15, 2016
7:00 pm to 9:00 pm
228 Highland Rd, Atglen, PA 19310

The future of agriculture in Chester County is important to all of us. Everyone involved in agriculture in Chester County wants to be able to continue to have their business thrive in the future. But what things does agriculture need to be able to do that? We, as members of agricultural community in Chester County need to know that to be able to advocate effectively for the agricultural sector in the county.

Who has the answers to that question? You do! We need your input and ideas now!

There will be a meeting of the agricultural community at the Octorara Middle School in the Multi-Purpose Room on Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at 7:00 PM. The address is: 228 Highland Rd, Atglen, PA 19310. The middle school is the first school on the right after making the turn off of route 41 onto Highland Road. Enter the door on the right after parking in front of the school. We hope that everyone involved in agriculture in the county will attend.

We, as the agricultural community, have the ability to affect the future of agriculture. You have the ability to affect the future for yourself and others in agriculture in the county. We want your ideas of what things agriculture needs to be able to thrive in the future. This meeting will be your meeting to gain your thoughts and ideas for the future of agriculture. Any ideas or thoughts will be recorded and included. We anticipate this meeting to be a positive, progressive step toward a continuing bright future for agriculture in our county.

This meeting will not be successful in helping agriculture without your attendance. Please take two hours of your time to attend the meeting and express your ideas and thoughts in a comfortable setting. This meeting will be structured so that no one needs to get up to speak in front of a large group to express their opinion.

You do not need to be a member of Farm Bureau to attend this important meeting. Everyone involved with agriculture in the county is welcome. I hope you will attend this very important meeting and I look forward to seeing you on March 15th.
