Register Now for the 2016 Dairy Financial and Risk Management Conference, being held at the Central Penn Conference Center in Summerdale, Pa., on Wednesday, September 28, from 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. If crunching numbers is making you weary, you can gain perspective on industry dynamics and the short term and long term opportunities for profit in dairy.

This year’s featured speakers include:

DryerJerry Dryer, chief market analyst at Rice Dairy and a well-respected market analyst, strategic thinker and commentator with 35 years of active participation in all aspects of the dairy foods business. Jerry held previous positions with the National Milk Producers Federation and the US Department of Agriculture. He also served as editor of the Cheese Reporter, Cheese Market News and Dairy Foods  Magazine. Jerry founded the Dairy & Food Market Analyst and continues to publish it today.

Sam MillerSam Miller, Managing Director of Agriculture Banking at BMO Harris Bank. Sam was awarded the Bruning Award by the American Bankers Association for Rural and Agriculture Banking for his leadership and outstanding dedication to providing credit and financial guidance to farmers, ranchers and businesses in rural America. He writes a monthly Agrivision column for the
Wisconsin Agriculturalist .

Also integral to the program is a panel on environmental permitting to help understand the process producers must go through, and another panel on the need for dairy processing in Pennsylvania and new alternatives for marketing milk in the region. The cost to attend the event is $200 per person, discounted to $150 for representatives of organizations listed as a Center Allies for Advancement (at a Bronze level of support at $1,000 or higher.)
