👉 Full Job Description:
Due to an internal promotion, Mason Dixon Farms are looking for an experienced Herdsperson for our 1000+ cow Robotic Barn with 20 VMS Delaval Robots.
👉 Duties to include:
-The responsibility for the performance of the milking herd on a shared schedule with one other Herdsman.
– Daily Management of the milking robots.
– Checking for cows that need attention, so the ideal candidate will ideally have good knowledge of working with cows.
– Will be able to assume responsibility for the herd, working on their own initiative.
– Cleaning of free stalls, water-bowls, alley cross-overs and main robot barn.
